Corporal punishment continuing at camp. 9-11-62 Suicide of new teacher, just out of Bowdoin College with High Honors, three days at St. James. Body reportedly found by Dorothy Ball, a Bermudian cook at both school and camp. 2-64 Troop 60 dropped by BSA due to lack of activity. c 1965 Religious Brothers staff camp. Corporal punishment by belts reported. 1965-75 Collapse in RC religious vocations seriously affects CL staffing. 1966 20th Season for Camp Leo sees general decline. 1968 SJ starts year at CL. "We lived in unheated cabins with no hot water till the end of October." 24 enrolled ay SJ that year.
