• 1965

  • Arrested for working on the construction of gymnasium after CT Supreme Court found in the town's building inspector's favor over infractions found in the the construction.

• 1968

  • Arrested on cruelty charges going back to October 1967. Trial action stopped.

• 1974

  • Arrested on complaint that two teens had been assaulted. Found for Francis on a technicality dealing with, "lawful force against juveniles by parents, teachers and others in authority."

• 1977

  • State Division of Children and Youth Services, alerted by a report of potential child abuse filed by the New Britain Hospital, removes the remaining eleven students to the Berlin Police Dept. until parents could pick them up.

• 1987

  • Justice Wm. O'Neill signs order to prevent the directors of Saint James Association, d/b/a Camp Leo from transacting business.
